Fiber Solutions

Built for distance. Built for speed. ADSS fiber cable, drop cable, 4-core cable, ONTs, media converters and fiber connectors — supplied nationwide across Kenya.

Why fiber

Distance

Copper degrades over long runs. Fiber carries a signal far further without loss — which is why it is the right answer for links between buildings or across a compound.

Speed and capacity

Fiber carries far more data than copper, and it does not slow down as the run gets longer.

Immunity to interference

Fiber carries light, not electricity. Electrical noise from motors, generators, lifts and power cabling does not touch it.

Longevity

A properly installed fiber backbone will carry equipment generations you have not bought yet.

What we supply

All supplied nationwide across Kenya.

ADSS fiber cable

All-dielectric self-supporting cable, built for aerial runs between poles and buildings without a separate messenger wire.

2-core drop cable

For the final run into a building or subscriber premises.

4-core fiber cable

For links needing additional cores for capacity or redundancy.

ONTs

Optical network terminals to bring the fiber connection into the customer network.

Media converters

To bridge fiber and copper where the network needs both.

Fiber connectors

For terminating and joining fiber runs.

When you need fiber instead of copper

Between buildingscopper struggles past about 100 metres — fiber does not
Across a compound or campusone fiber backbone beats a chain of extenders
On aerial runsADSS cable is designed to be strung between poles without a separate support wire
In electrically noisy environmentsnear generators, machinery or heavy power cabling

Where you are building for the futureinstalling fiber once costs less than upgrading copper twice

Frequently asked questions

What is ADSS cable for?

ADSS — all-dielectric self-supporting — cable is designed for aerial runs between poles or buildings. It carries its own weight, so it does not need a separate messenger wire.

Which cable do I need — drop, 2-core or 4-core?

Broadly: drop cable for the final run into a building, and 2-core or 4-core where you need more capacity or a spare core for redundancy. Tell us the run and what is at each end and we will advise.

Do you supply for projects and in quantity?

Yes. Send us your requirement — cable type, length and components — and we will quote.

Do you offer fiber splicing or termination?

No. We supply fiber cable, components and equipment. We do not offer splicing or termination as a service.
